~ 1991 Yamaha U3PEQ(PE) Professional Piano ~

Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this 1991 U3PEQ(PE) piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the mid 1990s and right up to today.
This 1991 model U3PEQ(PE) was the pre curser to the new Yamaha YUS3 and one of the last fully Japanese made models. This series is widely considered to be one of the highest quality U3 model upright pianos ever manufactured by Yamaha.
Previously owned by a local family, this piano has had minimal use and is comparable to a brand new YUS3. The YUS3 now retails for in excess of $18,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
