Rarely seen in Australia in this near immaculate condition and price point, the Yamaha UX3(PE) was manufactured entirely in the original Yamaha piano factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. They were the upgrade to the earlier UX models and one of the last fully Japanese made U series pianos. Widely considered one of the best upright pianos that Yamaha ever produced featuring Yamahas famous X Back tuning system.
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan which primarily operated between 1968-1988. Following this period, China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economy causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes in Indonesia into the 1990s and right up to today.
The piano has been through our rigorous refurbishment process including a full dismantle, exterior clean and detail, full regulation of the playing mechanism, keyboard and pedal mechanisms. Following refurbishment, the piano was reassembled and fine tuned to A-440 Concert Pitch.
