Rarely seen in Australia at this price including nationwide delivery, the Kawai CX5 was manufactured entirely in the original Kawai piano factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. They were the upgrade to the earlier student models and one of the last fully Japanese made Kawai pianos. Often regarded as the best compact sized piano that Kawai ever made, this particular example is in near immaculate condition inside and out.
 
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Kawai, this piano was built in the original Kawai Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan which primarily operated between 1968-1996. Following this period, China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economy causing Kawai to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes in Indonesia into the late 1990s and right up to today.
 
The piano has been through our rigorous refurbishment process including a full dismantle, exterior clean and detail, full regulation of the playing mechanism, keyboard and pedal mechanisms. Following refurbishment, the piano was reassembled and fine tuned to A-440 Concert Pitch.
 
The piano will come with our full 15 year warranty giving you complete peace of mind.
