~ Fully Refurbished Yamaha M5J ‘Mid Century’ Piano ~
This piano has just arrived in our Adelaide store, it was traded in for a baby grand piano, has been fully refurbished and is now ready for its new home!
Manufactured during the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this classic M5J model was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and right up to today.
The M5J stands at 110cm tall and is considered to be one of the best compact upright pianos manufactured in the golden era for Yamaha. This model had a love;y mid century styled walnut cabinet with a unique side lifting lid like a mini grand piano!
