A rare find in Australia, this piano is a fantastic example of the fully Japanese made Yamaha U1A (Acoustic / Silent) fully restored to factory specifications at our Mornington workshop; this piano is now at our retail store at 206 Elizabeth Street, Hobart.
This classic piano has a beautiful full, rich and warm tone, light an even touch typical of a Japanese made U1. Both a standard acoustic piano, only with the added addition of a hybrid digital system allowing the piano to be played silently through two sets of headphones. The piano also has midi in / out allowing music to be saved, uploaded etc.
Play an acoustic piano as loud as you like during the day, and switch to digital silent mode at night! The perfect piano for apartments or units.
With a brand new Yamaha U1 Silent now costing in excess of $14,000 AUD this is the perfect option for the new piano buyer, in this type of condition, you would not know the difference between this and a brand new piano.
