This piano is a AAA rated piano, fully imported and hand selected by us from Osaka, Japan. It can only be described as being in ‘as new’ condition inside and out. As with all of our fully imported pianos, we have gone to the trouble of obtaining a certificate of authenticity verifying the piano was fully built in Japan.

Manufactured during the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha (1968 - 1988) in the original Yamaha factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Yamaha switched to cheaper manufacturing processes in Indonesia from the early 1990s.
The Yamaha U1E(PE) was a classic mid-century Yamaha model that were designed as an upgrade to standard smaller student models. They had the classic ‘filled in leg’ , upgraded under damper action and full iron frame.
Fully refurbished in our piano restoration workshop in Adelaide; we are now one of the last piano business in Australia to still operate an onsite piano restoration workshop. This is how you know you are getting a reliable, quality instrument with a full 15 year warranty.
