~ Fully Refurbished Yamaha U1G(PE) Piano ~
This piano has just arrived in our Adelaide store and is in beautiful condition inside and out. Previously owned by a tuning customer of ours, we have maintained the piano for the past 10 years so know it inside and out.
 
Manufactured in 1974 during the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, the Yamaha U1G(PE) was the last fully Japanese made Yamaha U1 series models built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and right up to today.
 
The U1G(PE) was the upgrade to the smaller student models and widely considered to be one of the best professional sized upright pianos ever manufactured by Yamaha. The U1G was designed to replace the smaller student models as the player progressed. This model is comparable to a brand new U1PEQ which now retails for in excess of $14,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
