This Classic Yamaha U3A(PE) piano is in near immaculate condition inside and out - you would struggle to find a better example of this famous model, it’s like the day it left the factory. This piano also has a low volume pedal allowing the piano to be played almost silently.
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this classic late model Japanese built piano was manufactured in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and right up to today.
The Yamaha U3A(PE) was the last of the fully Japanese made U3 series models and widely considered to be one of the highest quality upright pianos ever manufactured by Yamaha.
This model is comparable to a brand new YUS3 which now retails for in excess of $18,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
