Standing at a full size height of 131cm, this classic Yamaha U3H(PE) has just landed at our Hobart store. Designed to take the player from beginner right through to advanced pianist without the need to ever upgrade. The Yamaha โHโ series models were renowned for their reliability and durance and this example is the best we have seen in a long time, minimal use and barely a single blemish on it.
Manufactured in the highly sought after โGolden Eraโ for Yamaha, this piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan which primarily operated between 1968-1988. Following this period, China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economy causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes in Indonesia into the 1990s and right up to today.
This late model 1980 build Yamaha piano has been through our rigorous refurbishment process including a full dismantle, exterior clean and detail, full regulation of the playing mechanism, keyboard and pedal mechanisms. Following refurbishment, the piano was reassembled and fine tuned to A-440 Concert Pitch.
