~ Steinway & Sons C-227 Semi-Concert Grand Piano ~
This beautiful vintage Steinway & Sons, Model C-227 Semi-Concert Grand Piano is an absolutely beautiful stunning statement of class and sophistication.
This fully restored vintage instrument from the highly sought after Victorian / post romantic period would make an absolutely beautiful feature piece in either a period style home, or conversely as a stunning feature piece in a modern home.
This beautiful 1 owner piano was acquired by us through Steinway Australia as a trade in for one of their brand new Steinway Grand Pianos. The piano was collected from a large private home in Sydney and transported to our piano restoration workshop in Adelaide last year.
The piano has since had a full restoration in Adelaide. The original ivory keyboard and mechanism were completely dismantled, every component removed and checked with necessary repairs required throughout. The keyboard and mechanism were then reassembled, regulated, and the piano fine tuned to A440 concert pitch.
The beautiful European Rosewood cabinet has been fully restored and refinished in a modern high gloss polish with all brasswork removed and polished to a high shine.
Not only an amazing instrument, this piano is also a wise choice as an investment, with new Steinway & Sons Grand Pianos increasing in price every year, this rare vintage instrument will no doubt increase significantly in value over the years.
