~ Fully Refurbished Kawai BL61(PE) Piano ~
This piano has just arrived in our Hobart store, has been fully refurbished, serviced, regulated and tuned in our on-site piano workshop and is now ready for its new home!
 
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Kawai, this piano was built in the original Kawai Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Kawai to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and where they are still made right up to today.
 
The Kawai BL61(PE) is widely considered to be one of the highest quality upright pianos ever manufactured by Kawai. This model was designed to mimic a baby grand piano in an upright form. This model is comparable to a brand new Kawai K600 which now retails for in excess of $14,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
