What an absolutely stunning full piano, an extremely rare Model 135 ‘Artiste Series’ Grotrian Steinweg (Steinway) Concert Upright. Manufactured in the original Steinweg Piano Factory in Braunschweig, Germany in 1925 this piano is one of the highest quality vintage upright pianos you are ever likely to find.
With a stunning and extremely unique European rosewood cabinet and ivory keyboard. The top panel has an extremely unique 5 panel brass panel which displays a story of children playing different music instruments. This would have been a feature custom ordered by the original owners, as we have never seen this in a piano before.
This beautiful instrument has a warm, deep and powerful tone typical of a high quality European made Grotrian from this era. Fully restored, this piano is the perfect piano to take the player right through from beginner to advanced pianist without the need to ever upgrade. The perfect piano for a period home, or alternatively a feature piece in a modern home.
