This piano has been tastefully restored in our restoration workshop and store in Hobart.
Manufactured in 1972 during the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for mid century European instruments, this piano was built in the original Schimmel Piano Factory in Germany. This model is the ‘Artisan Collection’ - a model rarely seen in Australia as most remained in the European market.
European instruments from this era are widely considered to be some of the best pianos manufactured. This particular piano has a full iron frame, overstrung design and quality German Schimmel roller piano mechanism.
The highly sought after mid-century cabinet boasts a European walnut veneer with classic 60's curved corners and edging. The perfect piano for somebody looking for both an aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture as well as a quality instrument.
