The restoration of this piano has now been completed and it is on display to view and play at our store in Evandale, South Australia. Manufactured in the original C.Bechstein piano factory in Berlin, Germany in 1906, this beautiful instrument remained in the same family home for over 60 years prior to us obtaining it for restoration. We have tuned and maintained the piano for many years for the previous owners and when it came up for sale we jumped at the chance to acquire this stunning instrument for restoration and resale.
The piano has been beautifully restored by us inside and out in our piano restoration workshop in Evandale, South Australia. Restoration work has included a full repolish of the stunning ebony cabinet with turned legs and filigree music desk. The piano mechanism and ivory and ebony keyboard were also completely rebuilt to perfect playing condition.
A truely beautiful Art-Deco period piano with classic carved music desk, turned legs and matching lyre. A stunning statement piece, this piano oozes class and sophistication and would suit either a period style home or modern home as an amazing and classy feature piece.
