~ Yamaha YUX(PE) Concert Upright Piano ~
This Classic Yamaha YUX3 piano is in near immaculate condition inside and out. It has also had a brand new set of K Series hammers installed, giving the piano a majestic tone, more like a baby grand than an upright piano. You would struggle to find a better example of this famous X Back model.
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this fully imported AAA rated piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and right up to today.
The Yamaha YUX(PE) is one of the last fully Japanese made models and widely considered to be one of the highest quality upright pianos ever manufactured by Yamaha. The YUX model had the famous X-Back tuning system reserved only for their elite pianos.
This model is comparable to a brand new YUS3 which now retails for in excess of $18,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
