This absolutely stunning John Broadwood

& Sons Concert Grand Piano is a true statement of class and sophistication from the post-romantic period and golden era for English pianos. Manufactured in the original Broadwood & Sons piano factory in London in 1894, it is the only example of this particular model with squared Victorian styled legs that we have ever seen in Australia.

Previously owned by a family estate in Toorak, Melbourne, this piano was discretely acquired by us via a private piano collection auction. The piano was transported directly from the previous owner to our piano restoration workshop in Adelaide.

Meticulously restored on site in our piano restoration workshop, this amazing hand made vintage example is manufactured entirely from Rosewood. With its amazing hand carved squared Victorian styled legs and decorative pedal Lyar, you will most likely never see another one of these pianos again in Australia.

The piano has had a complete nut and bolt restoration which included a full restring and repin, full action rebuild, full cabinet repolish and full ivory and ebony keyboard restoration. This piano plays absolutely perfectly like the day it left the Broadwood factory and is as close to being in original condition ‘as first sold’ that you are ever likely to find.

Not only an amazing instrument, this piano is also a wise choice as an investment, with these rare vintage instruments no doubt increasing significantly in value over the years. Amaze your friends and stand out from the crowd with this vintage concert grand piano in your home.
