This piano has just arrived in our Hobart store, has now been fully refurbished and is now ready for its new home!
Finished in a classy dark walnut, which is a nice point of difference to the standard gloss black pianos. The piano has a lovely deep and warm tone, typical of a quality Japanese piano from this era.
Manufactured in 1994 during the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Japanese pianos, this classic Apollo A350 model was built in the original Apollo Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing manufacturers to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the late 1990s and right up to today.
The Apollo A350 stands at a full height of 132cm tall and is considered to be one of the best full size upright pianos manufactured in the golden era for Japanese pianos. This model has a lovely dark walnut cabinet that is in excellent condition after having been repolished in our workshop.
