~ Stunning ‘Blüthner’ Style 8 Grand Piano ~
Restoration just completed in our Adelaide store, this beautiful and classy vintage German ‘Blüthner’ Style 9 Grand Piano was manufactured in the original Blüthner Piano Factory in Leipzig, Germany in 1899.
Featuring a stunning fully repolished European Dark Walnut cabinet, this piano is a true 1 owner, originally purchased by a vocalist from Harrods in London; it was later transported to Australia when the family moved to Toorak Gardens in Adelaide in 1985.
An absolutely amazing instrument with a rich, warm and beautiful tone, this piano has Blüthners ‘Aliquot’ scale, adding a 4th string to the treble section.
The piano has undergone a ‘sympathetic’ restoration in our restoration workshop in Adelaide. A sympathetic restoration keeps the piano cost down and means that the original parts and materials are restored to keep the authenticity of the instrument with necessary work completed to ensure reliable functionality.
