~ 1934 Weisbrod 'Art Deco' Upright Piano ~
Fully restored in our piano restoration workshop in Hobart, Tasmania; this piano is a rare find - a beautiful 1934 Art-Deco model upright Weisbrod Piano.
Standing at 134cm in height, this was the largest upright piano manufactured by Weisbrod in Eisenberg, Germany between 1912-1942.
This particular example has the most exquisite hand carved, European walnut cabinet featuring both figured and Burl walnut which was completely stripped and repolished by us.
Together with its ivory and ebony keyboard and solid brass candelabra, this piano is an absolute work of art. It could suit either a period style home or modern home as a beautiful feature piece.
Fully restored inside and out, the piano features a full iron frame, overstrung scale and full underdamper playing mechanism. The piano plays perfectly, has a lovely warm and mellow tone and is fully tuned to A440 concert pitch.
