This piano is a AAA rated piano, fully imported and hand selected by us from Osaka, Japan. As with all of our fully imported pianos, we have gone to the trouble of obtaining a certificate of authenticity verifying the piano was fully built in Japan.

Manufactured in the original Kawai Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan in 1978; this piano is literally like the day it left the factory. The Kawai BL71 had a large grand piano sty;e music desk and sheet music ledge, and at 132 cm in height, they were the predecessor to the later US50 and US60 models. Manufactured prior to when Kawai switched to cheaper manufacturing processes in Indonesia, many technicians believe these original Japanese models made a faster and more repetitive action than modern versions.
