~ Kawai KG2C ‘Conservatory Series’ Grand Piano ~

Specifications:
Brand: Kawai
Model: KG2C
Cabinet: High Gloss Ebony.
Manufactured by: Kawai, Japan.
Dimensions: 152cm(W) X 178cm(L)
Comparable new model: Kawai GX-3 (RRP $38,995)

Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Kawai (1968 - 1988) in the original Kawai piano factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Kawai switched to cheaper manufacturing processes in Indonesia from the early 1990s.

This classic piano is one of Kawai’s timeless models from the 1970s and 1980s. Fully manufactured in Japan using high-quality Japanese parts and labour, these original conservatory series models are super reliable instruments.

A highly sought after model, these original Japanese made KG2C models are becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition and at this price point. Comparable in build quality to the new Kawai GX-3, in our opinion, this piano is even better than a new piano.

Now ready for sale and immediate delivery, it has been fully refurbished in our piano restoration workshop in Hobart; we are now one of the last piano business in Australia to still operate an onsite piano restoration workshop. This is how you know you are getting a reliable, quality instrument with a full 15 year warranty.
