~ Restored 1922 Gors & Kallman 'Art Deco' Upright Piano ~
Tastefully restored and completely repolished in a contemporary gloss finish; this piano is a really unique find. A beautiful 1922 Art-Deco Gots & Kallman Upright Piano manufactured from beautiful figured walnut. Rarely do you see a piano manufactured from such an elegant timber with a modern gloss finish.
Goes & Kallman pianos, initially established in 1880, were known for their high quality and rich, clear tone. Standing at 132cm in height, this was their full size upright piano manufactured between 1918-1938 and was called their Full Upright Model.
Together with its beautiful cabinetry and original solid brasswork, this piano is an absolute work of art. It would suit either a period style home or modern home as a beautiful feature piece.
The piano features a full iron frame, overstrung scale and full underdamper playing mechanism. The piano plays perfectly, has a lovely warm and mellow tone and is fully tuned to A440 concert pitch.
