This ultimate rare piano is a unique find in Australia, an original Yamaha U3B ‘Lounge Series’ upright piano, which has been fully refurbished to factory specifications at our Adelaide store.
Widely regarded as the rarest Yamaha U3 model, these pianos were originally a custom ordered piano in Japan only. We travelled to a piano auction in Osaka to acquire this piano, they were never sent to an Australia and we have never seen one before.
A stunning, bespoke, mid century styled piano, it features a two tone gloss black / teak cabinet which boasts gloss black squared off side panels, cheeks and front rail alongside teak front panels and silver rounded legs. Inside, the piano comprises a full iron frame, overstrung scale and quality underdamper Yamaha piano action.
An amazingly stylish furniture piece, together with being a lovely musical instrument; the envy of your friends with this super cool mid century piano. There is nothing comparable on the current market that matched the sophistication and style of this unique item.
