~ Fully Refurbished Yamaha U3A(PE) Piano ~
This piano has just arrived in our Hobart store and is in near immaculate condition inside and out. It is possibly the best U3 example we have seen!
A late model, manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, the Yamaha U3A(PE) was the last fully Japanese made Yamaha U series model - built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and right up to today.
The U3A(PE) is widely considered to be one of the highest quality upright pianos ever manufactured by Yamaha. This model was designed to mimic a baby grand piano in an upright form. This model is comparable to a brand new YUS3 which now retails for in excess of $18,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
