This Yamaha U3H(PE) professional upright piano has just arrived at our Adelaide store and is in beautiful condition inside and out. The upgrade model to the smaller U1 models, these pianos were one of the last fully Japanese built full size models and are basically bulletproof!
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and right up to today.
The Yamaha U3H(PE) is widely considered to be an extremely high grade model and becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition and price point. We have fully refurbished this piano to factory specifications and it plays perfectly and sounds beautiful.
This model is comparable to a brand new YUS3 which now retails for in excess of $18,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
