This Yamaha UX(PE) professional upright piano has just arrived at our Adelaide store. It is in beautiful condition inside and out, the upgrade to the standard U3 models, these pianos were the first ever X back series to be released. They are a fantastic model with a beautiful full and deep tone and this piano is no exception.
Manufactured in the highly sought after ‘Golden Era’ for Yamaha, this piano was built in the original Yamaha Piano Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. Following this period, Indonesia and China emerged as the next piano manufacturing economies causing Yamaha to switch to cheaper manufacturing processes at a new factory in Indonesia from the early 1990s and right up to today.
The Yamaha UX(PE) is widely considered to be an extremely high grade model and becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition. With a deep, mellow amd warm tone, together with an extremely even touch, there is nothing not to like about this lovely piano.
This model is comparable to a brand new YUS3 which now retails for in excess of $18,000 AUD making this particular piano an excellent option for the new piano buyer.
