Since the early 1990’s Mobile Piano Service has built a strong reputation within the piano tuning, repairs, restoration and sales industry in Tasmania and South Australia. For a long period of time, we have regularly travelled between those two states and subsequently conducted a lot of work in Melbourne.
From 2017, Mobile Piano Service will have an even stronger focus and presence in Melbourne and Victoria, expanding its professional operations from its permanent workshop and store in South Australia.
For a decade or more now, as the Director of Mobile Piano Service I have witnessed the outreach of the piano business. Whereas buying, selling and servicing pianos was once a localised enterprise, changing technology, infrastructure and lifestyles of people has led to pianos, as with other goods, becoming national and global items moving between places nationwide and even worldwide.
Because of the specialised nature of our work, our Mobile Piano Service – The Store website regularly receives enquiries from Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, Queensland, ACT and Western Australia, and through our transport contacts, we are easily able to deliver pianos nationwide as well as transport pianos between states for restoration. Wherever you are, Mobile Piano Service will be able to package and send a piano to you, and through our transport contacts, ensure it arrives in mint condition including a post-delivery tuning.
